BIO

Robin Huber is an author who came to writing the same way she’s approached most things in her life — head-on, a little sleep-deprived, and deeply committed.
She raised three children while building a demanding corporate career, spending years in suburbia as a full-time mom and part-time taxi driver, shuttling kids between cheer, baseball, and football practices. Today, her two sons are in college, her daughter is in high school, and Robin finds herself nearing the finish line of a season defined by carpool lanes and sideline cheering — one she wouldn’t trade for anything.
In 2011, while on maternity leave, Robin decided to write a book — because that’s what exhausted new mothers do, right? One hundred forty-five thousand words later, she discovered that writing wasn’t just a creative outlet; it was a calling. After years of querying, she signed with a Chicago-based literary agent and landed a two-book publishing deal with a major New York publisher. The experience was equal parts thrilling and terrifying, and it shaped her understanding of both the business and the art of storytelling.
Since then, Robin has written three additional books, two of which are published, with another completed novel preparing for submission with new representation. After regaining the rights to her original publications, she re-released them in updated author editions with new covers and a full creative refresh, along with a combined anniversary collection. Her upcoming novel — begun during the quiet intensity of 2020 — represents a more mature evolution of her voice and is the project she’s most proud of to date.
Alongside her writing life, Robin has built a strong career in corporate leadership, where she currently serves in a senior leadership role with a large private company. Her work centers on building people-first systems with a focus on operational excellence, leading large teams, and creating structures that support both growth and humanity. It’s demanding work — and work she loves. Writing has never come easily in terms of time, but it has always come easily in terms of purpose. She writes early, late, and whenever she can.
Robin lives in Northeast Florida with her husband and children, surrounded by deep family roots and a love for Old Florida charm. She is deeply spiritual, genuinely happy, and fueled by coffee, wine, pasta, and Christmas music played far too early. She bakes delicious cakes for people she loves, believes she’s capable of handling a lot because she already has, and is excited for what comes next — including a new publisher, a new release, and a new season of life.
